Clashes

Penetration Clash Check helps identify clashes between penetrating elements and host elements, and by selecting Process it allows transferring data to clash API and determine all the clashes by generating a clash report. It consists of the following two panels, Penetrating Elements and Elements to be Cut.

Accessed from:
  • Ribbon: Building Design > Collaborate > Penetrations > Clashes
  • Ribbon: Building Systems Design > Collaborate > Penetrations > Clashes
SettingDescription
Penetrating Elements Penetrating Elements are used for cutting host elements. It consists of cutting elements such as Ducts, Pipes, Columns and Beams.
Elements to be Cut Elements to be Cut consist of host elements such as Floors, Roofs and Walls. These elements are cut using Penetrating Elements such as Ducts, Pipes, etc.
Source Displays the Current File and reference files allowing you to find clashes by selecting the respective files.
Process Selecting Process transfers data to clash API and determines all the clashes by generating a clash report.
Close Closes the Penetration Clash Check dialog without identifying clashes.
